Ferris Wheel
While visiting in Osaka, we made a stop at the Tempozan Harbor Village Ferris Wheel. This was once the largest ferris wheel in the world, recently surpassed in 1999 by the London Eye. Since then, it has been surpassed by a few others as well. Even still, it was a pretty big wheel.
From the wheel there was a fantastic view of Osaka and beyond. It was a 15 minute ride, complete with audio commentary, in English and Japanese.
We visited on a nice, clear day and we were able to see very far. It was definitely a new perspective on the city.
Not only did we get to see a lot, we were also glad just to sit down for a bit. Sometimes, when you spend three-days sightseeing, it is worth the 700 yen to get a ride and relax.
Hi Aaron and Danielle,
Thanks for this…I`m?heading to Osaka/Kobe myself over New Year and this will help with travel plans
