Engrish Tuesday
The Japanese people have this interesting relationship with English. They all know a little bit, it is a required subject in Junior and High school. And, they all seem to think it is interesting and fun, but they are not always skilled at actually using it. Engrish is the result, funny and far-out,often grammatically incorrect, usage of the language we all know so well.
We see Engrish everywhere, on billboards, trains, t-shirts, and now we are going to share it with you. And we will call it Engrish Tuesday. I promise you will get some good laughs!
Today’s Engrish was found outside of a hair salon in Kyoto. I am not exactly sure what a happy hair story is, but, maybe, someday I will find out.
