Live from Japan!

When we first got married, everything that we did during our first year was a big deal. We called everything, “our first married (fill in the blank).” There were first married birthdays, first married thanksgivings, first married movies, first married everything. Well, it has been a long time now since that first married year, but we get to have a whole new set of firsts this year.

Today is Aaron’s first birthday in Japan!! He turned 27 today, which means he has officially moved from his mid 20’s, to his late 20’s. If you ask him, he will argue that he isn’t in his late 20’s at all, he is in his mid-to-late 20’s.

Well, no matter what you call it, I think it is bound to be a year to remember. A year filled with fun and adventure. A year filled with memories that will last us a lifetime. And, the real bonus, another year to spend together.
