Best Friends?
There was a little temple in Ichinomiya that a I stopped at with a friend. Near the entrance to the temple the sidewalk was decorated with all these tiles obviously created by small people. This one was my favorite. A kid holding hands with spider man and the japanese, as I understand it, says simply “Best friends?”
I don’t have time for a more involved post today. I am also in no place to post anything more involved. It has always been my purpose to keep this blog as my “happy japan” place and that if I don’t have something good to say, I tend not to say anything at all (there have been a few exceptions). Right now I don’t feel as though I have anything good to say. I am really homesick and I am really hoping it goes away soon.
Hang in there, Danielle! I am sure it will go away soon. I am also very homesick right now and no one quite understands because they all know I am leaving Japan soon to come home, but there is just so much to get through before I get on the plane and I just want to click my ruby slippers!
