What is This?

Hillary?

Usually when I see signs, especially signs with a lot of Japanese on them, I ignore them. After all, chances are I am not going to come even close to understanding what the sign is about anyways, so what is the point?

But, for whatever reason, this one just sort of caught my eye. I looked at it for awhile and much to my surprise, right there on the bottom among all of the Asian faces is a picture of Hillary Clinton! Why is she there? What is this sign all about?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you happen to have a better/straight on picture. I can have my mom translate it if you want.

I don’t have any better pictures, sorry.

And no worries about the translating. It would be pretty funny to have someone from halfway around the world translate it from the language that the person right next to me speaks fluently. I will be brave and just ask.

    Thanks though!

Hi Danielle! It’s Jess (other new RPA Jess)… I just found your blog- it’s great; really interesting.
I’m guessing it’s an ad for either a newspaper or a news program… or something. Pretty funny that Hillary’s the only ‘gaijin’ on there though…
Did you find out what it is??
