A Child’s Wish

This is a prayer that a child wrote on one of the tablets at the Meiji-jingu shrine in Tokyo. Almost makes me wish that I knew where Henry lived so that I could send him an eraser.

    Silly gaijin…eraser is Japanese slang for that crazy Japan thing…what’s it called?…meth.

    Japanese teenagers running around with their “eraser” collections…slurping Mountain Dew into their sad, toothless maws…

    You want to help poor Henry? Send him to rehab.
