4 More Days
So, yeah, still a little quiet around here on the blog. We are getting packed up and ready for our trip back home. I can’t believe that in just 4 days we will be winging our way back to the States. Only for a visit this time, probably more permanently next year.
Anyways, the trip home is completely occupying my thoughts and my time. I can’t stop daydreaming about all the people we are going to see, all the nieces and nephews we are going to snuggle with, all the stories we are going to tell, and all the catching up we are going to do. Hard to imagine that we are going to attempt to do it all in just 15 days. And that doesn’t include all the eating and shopping we want to accomplish.
It is going to be awesome.
Right now our apartment is a pretty big mess. While talking with Rachel (Aaron’s sister) on the phone on Sunday I started tearing everything apart and getting things packed. Although the packing process began, as it usually does, with things being thrown and strewn about. And that is about how our apartment is right now.
Work is insane, tying up the last few loose ends before I leave. But it is a good insanity, a mostly manageable insanity (I hope).
I just can’t wait. Wonder how many hours it is until we come home…
